On concert days, the venue gate will close at 3:00pm and the tasting room will close at 4:00 p.m. Tasting room hours are subject to change based on scheduled concerts.
No outside alcohol is allowed to be consumed anywhere on the premises. You may enjoy your own picnic, only in our designated picnic area, near our parking lot. Thank you for visiting The Mountain Winery. Please note, guests must be 21+ to enter the tasting room.

The Mountain Winery Historical Narratives... Every Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
Join us to learn The Mountain Winery’s rich history of hosting celebrity guests, memorable events and producing world class wines. The Historical Narrative will be hosted by our own Historian and Tasting Room Manager, Jesse “The Mayor” Montenegro. His exuberant attitude, passion for our history and story-telling method of delivery make for fantastic entertainment. Enjoy a tour of our beautiful estate. If there is a private event on property, the historical narrative will be hosted on The Wine Tasting Patio.
Our founder, Paul Masson purchased the mountain top estate in 1901 and later earned himself the title, “The Champagne King of California”. Masson was a fabulous entertainer who was credited for introducing California wine to the world. Attend a tour to learn about the influential friends who visited the property frequently to relax, drink fabulous wine and fine food, and seek inspiration from the beautiful estate.
The Mountain Winery is now best known for our Summer Concert Series, which began in 1958. The venue also hosts corporate events, weddings, and social events for the public.
