"This is a review of a corporate team building event at Mountain Winery that my company had last week. I work in the Silicon Valley branch of an international media company, and each year we do a team building weekend with our US employees. I've worked with vendors all over the bay area producing this event for many years, and Mountain Winery is THE BEST vendor we've ever used for this type of event.
Their staff was perfect in every regard from planning through execution, and the price was very reasonable for an absolutely first class experience for our group. We spent an entire day there, starting with a tour lead by Jesse, followed by a wine tasting, a fantastic luncheon on a private terrace, a wine blending and educational "workshop" lead by a sommelier (Sandi from A Sense of Wine), and an awards ceremony.
If there are any corporate event planners out there who happen to read this, don't hesitate to use Mountain Winery for a company event! "Microsoft held a dinner at Mountain Winery last Wednesday and it was a big success, due largely to the efforts of the sales manager Jeremy Rydza. What started as a dinner for 100 kept climbing and climbing as we got closer to the event; it's nice to have that kind of success but not when one is trying to nail down the number of dinners a few days in advance! On top of that, we had a last-minute request for a Kosher meal. Jeremy never missed a beat, even when I called on Monday to request 10 more dinners for Wednesday (we wound up with a total of 126 dinners needed) And what a great meal it was! "My cousin and I drove in from the Sacramento area; we were glad to have found the place easily and appreciated the orderly way in which guests were guided into the parking area. Whether asking where the restrooms were located or where to buy a beverage, each representative of Mountain Winery was courteous and helpful. The amphitheater is GORGEOUS, and there didn't seem to be a "bad" seat in the place. After the concert, the parking crew did a great job directing traffic!
